About
DASH Mental Health, Wellbeing & Behaviour Support and Education provide tailored and adaptive mental and emotional health, wellbeing and behaviour support and education to schools, professional services, families and community groups.
We aim to support young people, and those who are closest to them, to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary tools to recognise, understand, support and manage their various needs, so that they can thrive in life.
Who
DASH Mental Health & Wellbeing was set up by teacher and education behaviour specialist Rob Jones. He has over 10 years experience of working within a variety of educational establishments, teaching across several subject areas, including SEN, literacy, numeracy and music. In recent years, he taught within a Prison and began working directly with learners who presented with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) as well as those being neurodivergent and in the care system.
Rob has always been praised for his rapport building skills with learners, as well as being highly skilled and knowledgeable. Through DASH, he hopes to not just support and educate learners with their difficulties and struggles of navigating through life, but also school staff, professional services and community groups.
During his time working in education, Rob completed his MSc in Psychology as well as developing his skills and knowledge in Positive Psychology, Trauma Informed Practices, Mindfulness, Working with Challenging Behaviour, Wellbeing Support, Emotional Intelligence, EBSA, Attachment, Growth Mindset, GRIT, Resilience and Coaching and Mentoring.
